hey peeps! Am geraldine from ND2. Am here to share a testimony abt my group!!
Two weeks before the ESS, my group and i supposed to have A SOW event, but instead of sowing to our contacts, none of us actually brought their friends. And the attendance for our own people was very very low, as it was like only 4 of us out of 14 people. was discouraged of cox, but god didnt fail to bless us everyday! on that day, we managed to get 5 kcp contacts thru evaxing and 1 gyss. however the gyss contacts didnt want to give us her number n even her name.
Thank god for 2 of the kcp contacts as we managed to know more lower sec frens thru them and we brought them all to our MCG which was 6 of them! Our Mcg was supposed to be a badminton event, but we ended up playing catching at the playground. it was kinda childish to some of us but was glad that the contacts actually enjoyed themselves and were quite opened towards us. And we managed to get one confirmed fren coming and 3 unconfirmed ones. And thru that we actually see hoe god worked thru lil events.
The passion in our group actually went up too. we called up our contacts almost everyday and talk to them. On wednesday we actually hit 20 w 9 visitors which is 2 more to our goal.
on saturday eventhough it dropped to 17 with only 4 contacts, but we wanna thank god that 3 of them actually received christ!! and from the wss, we actually had 2 lower sec converts! so altogether we had 5 new sisters joining us!!!
And after that we actually follow-upped on them within the next 2 days. And was glad to hear that one of the wss converts was very responsive n
she actually shows interest and she is keen/desires to learn more!!
The kind of joy u received when seeing them grow was so different frm anything else.
And in this two weeks i can see how god is working in my group.
So wanna encouraged u guys who yet hv any converts, hv faith that the next ESS, it'll be ur turn to see converts coming in!
